Happy Christmas from the Worcester Goalkeeper Academy

Well last night was the last session for this term, before we return again for a new one on the 17th January 2020… And as it is customary for this Academy at this time of year, it was time for us to have a few christmas goalkeeper related games!

It was a time to not get too technical but still whilst having fun, playing games that needed goalkeeper skills in play… it was also time for us to hand out gifts to those who turned up and above all else praise them for all their efforts this term.

We have seen all our keepers develop, knuckling down to learn. An attitude that makes us proud, as it means it’s an easier environment to coach in.

We have also seen new coaches come on board, with new coaches starting next year. Coaches we have also seen develop.

This Academy has grown so much over the years and it is expected that from next term we will have 15 coaches and 50 keepers on our books… we even have a waiting list! We must be doing something right?

So I end this blog post, coming to the end of a really successful year. Successful for the Academy, the Coaches, and of course the Keepers! Here’s to more in 2020! Happy Christmas!
